A Charlie Brown Christmas.
-
One of my all-time favorite Christmas specials is “A Charlie Brown Christmas”. The family cuddled up to watch it on ABC last night.Charles Schultz holds a special place here in Minnesotan culture, obvious by the plethora of “Peanuts” character statues located all over the Metro area.

There seemed to be even more commercials this year, but then again, that seems to happen every year. Something that disappointed us all very deeply happened at the end of the show. Or I guess I should say, didn’t happen.
My favorite part of the whole show is when Charlie Brown cries out, “Can anybody tell me what Christmas is all about?1?” Linus comes up and tells the Christmas Story.
How disappointed I was when ABC omits this pinnacle of the entire special.  Here is the correct ending to “A Charlie Brown Christmas”
It saddens me that ABC has taken their effort at political correctness by diminishing the beliefs of Charles Schultz, and his works. Christmas is about JESUS! Whether or not you believe in it, it is the Christmas story, and deserves to be told. I personally would rather them show the special in it’s entirety, or not at all.
