Kerry's bad joke...After John Kerry’s failed run for office, I had hoped that I would not see him in
    the news again…

But alas, John Kerry has managed to force his way into headlines again with a tasteless joke, with a bad delivery in an attempt to take a shot at the President.

“You know, education — if you make the most of it, you study hard and you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.”

There we no laughs in the crowd, and Kerry’s face sunk as he realized his botched delivery. After this, does the senator issue an apology for his accidentally implying U.S. soldiers have a diminished level of intelligence? Quite the opposite:

“Let me make it crystal clear, as crystal clear as I know how: I apologize to no one for my criticism of the president and of his broken policy. If anyone owes our troops in the fields an apology, it is the President”

    Atta boy John Kerry…

Well, at least the Minnesota National Guard’s 34th Infantry Division are lighthearted about it. They were able to use their diminished intelligence to fingerpaint an awesome picture for John… They managed to finish it just before naptime. :)

Kirstie Doar and Rob Doar are having a baby!

This is the post I was trying to write when the whole site crashed… Rebuilding the site has been a headache, but things are coming along!
    6 Weeks!

Kirstie is 6 weeks pregnant, and morning sickness (which is deceivingly named) has set in for the evening hours for my lovely wife.
This came as a suprise to us, but is a great blessing nonetheless.

I have officially been hired onto CHRobinson off of my contract. This is great news, but the job transition will leave us uninsured untill December 1st. We have consulted doctors and nurses, and they have ensured us that no visit is needed before December, unless we think something is wrong. Please be in prayer that mom and baby will be safe and healthy.

    So do we!

Kirstie and I are going through some changes in this season of our life. Kirstie’s last day at Dunn Bros will be Friday, Oct 13th.

After a day of dealing with the 3 kids she nannies, working the closing shift at Dunn’s was increasingly wearing on Kirstie. The time we had together was diminishing as Dunn’s consistently increased her hours well beyond her requested 20 hour a week maximum. Having her stop working will create more time for us together, but will make finances a bit tighter, while we save up for school, and pay off the new car. So please be in prayer for us.

Within the next 2 weeks, I will find out if I am hired at my position at CHRobinson, or if they will let my contract run out. Everything seems to be pointing at me getting the job, but I do not want to count my eggs before they hatch.

Please keep praying for us, and drop us a line, let us know how you are doing!
