He has given me a whole book full of advice on how to raise my child!.“My Lord has wisdom like that of an angel of God—he knows everything that happens in the land.” 2 Samuel 14:20

My boss is also there whenever I need to talk to him! “come to me all who are weak and heavy and burdened” Mathew 11:28

I just think about people complain or whine about there boss, I can’t do that my Boss is perfect! I just hope that others who read this and remember who there boss is and because I remember who is mine!

One down, many more to go!

What a year it has been! God has blessed us so richly and surprised us so much! To see for yourself, you can browse around the archives for the site… there’s tons to look at.

For our anniversary yesterday we had a full day. We first went to the Mall of America to see “No Reservations”. The movie was comically romantic, and not bad for a chick-flick?. After that we went to the Solara restaurant in Downtown Minneapolis. We had a mixed experience there.

We had originally made reservations for the Patio at the restaurant. When we got there, there was loud music, and the ambience was more for a college bar, than a romantic dinner. We asked the concierge for a table inside, and they quickly seated us in a beautiful candle-lit booth in the near empty restaurant.

The service and the food left much to be desired. After 10 min, our waitress came and took our drink orders. She explained that the menu there was a bit different than most places. “The plates (tapas) are smaller, and priced between $6 and $10” We thought it would be cook to sample the different foods on the menu. We didn’t realize how “smaller” can be such a relative term.

I had ordered a spare rib dish, and toasted bread with prucheta ham and some fancy cheese. Kirstie had ordered some fried goat cheese balls. After 20 minutes, to our surprise, we received a 1.5 by 2 inch cut of ribs, 6 – ½ inch cheese balls, and 3 – 3 inch Italian bread ham and cheese sandwiches. We did the math and estimated for us to get full; we would be there for two hours at a cost of $120-150. Maybe we’re not gourmets, but we were not impressed with the food, especially at the cost.

So what do two college kids do? Go to Applebee’s!

After visiting Lake Calhoun, and the Walker Art Center, Kirstie and I had some GREAT food and dessert at Applebee’s, our long time date spot.

We rejoice at our first year together and look forward to many more. Thank you all for your prayers and support of our ministry and family!

This weekend is Bela’s dedication! Yay!

We will also be addressing the congregation tonight and tomorrow night. We dont have much time allotted, but hopefully we can share our vision, and generate some more ministry partners!

Also, Kirstie’s parents have looked at, made an offer, got the offer accepted, and moved into a house all in six days!!! Wow!… The house is beautiful. While the closing date is not until early August, they have been granted early occupancy.

Bela also had a appointment with her new doctor, and we are in motion to figuring out/curing the water buildup on her head. She will be seeing a cranial specialist this week!. :)

Please pray for us all in this transition, and especially for this weekend, that God willing, we can expand our support base, and ministry partners!
