We’ve recovered from a DoS attack on our site, that wiped out our site.
We’ve restored from a backup, and lost a few recent posts, and I think everything is up and running. Â If you find anything out of the ordinary, please let us know.
Thanks!
We have received a couple of requests for some more pictures, and I wanted to let you guys know that our only internet connection is dial up right now, so we have not been able to upload any photos. We could go to an internet cafe, but their computers usually have mor viruses than a children´s daycare.
I was working with Manuel, and we found out that he can get broadband internet here, and actually save money, as he has to pay per a min of phone charges while on dialup. It should be installed this week, so photos will be up on our Photo Page soon! Thanks for hanging in there!
Congratulations! You made the switch…
Granted you didn;t have to do anything different, but good job visiting the site.
We have moved the site to a new, more reliable server, and updated it with a new look and feel.
Here are some of the things that have changed:
If you notice any errors, or anything that doesn’t work or look right, please contact us.

This site may not look quite right if you are using Internet Explorer (IE). Believe it or not, in the scope if internet browsers, IE does not hold up to others. IE does not follow current web design standards, is more susceptible to virus/spyware attacks, and is not as fast as other options. You can read about IE’s problems, and your Internet browsing options at BrowseHappy.com Also, see what my friend, and fellow techie missionary Tim Griffin has to say.
We Recommend Firefox. Firefox is fast, safe, and give you the ability to customize your internet experience. If you would like to view this site, and many other sites the way they are meant to be viewed, please download Firefox from our sidebar on the right. You won’t regret it!
The site’s layout is a little messy after a faulty upgrade. We will get it back to normal when we get home and can restore a backup. Thanks!
Some of you may have noticed a few different things added onto the site over the past couple of weeks, I thought I would take a minute to let you guys know what was added.
BAM Page – This is a new page that I am dedicating for resources and information on business as missions. BAM is an emerging tools used to transforming communities for Christ.
Online Donations – This section of the site allows people to make one-time, monthly, or anonymous donations securely through their bank account or credit card.
Products Page – Kirstie and I came up with this idea to help reduce our expenses, and give supporters an opportunity to meet our immediate practical needs.
We have also updated the Our Ministry page. We are still adding some things, but the jist of it is there.
Thanks all for keeping up on the site, and please Contact Us if you have any suggestions or problems with the site!
