First Chirstmas

I am really excited because this is Isabela’s first Christmas which made me get to thinking…… what would it have been for Mary? This child was born to her and she knows that this baby is the son of God. Having a baby is an amazing and wonderful blessing but how much more would it be knowing that you child will be saving people’s lives!
Isn’t it crazy how much we worry about decoration’s and all that jazz when the first Christmas took place in a stable. There were no decorations! No fancy food’s. There was stinky animals, hay, and stable.It makes me have such a respect for Mary. All the pain of going through labor plus being in a stinky place. I feel so blessed with what God has given to us at this Christmas time! My baby is such blessing. I wonder just like Mary most likely did on that night, what will this child do for our wonderful creator!
I pray that God continues to care for everyone in this season no matter where they are!
